Oils, oils everywhere!

Welcome to my blog! I am so excited about essential oils, and I can't wait to share them with you. Living a healthier lifestyle feels good, and part of that is using essential oils. Now, I'm going to be very honest here. Not all oils are created equally! It is incredibly important to use essential oils from a quality source. What does that mean? It means several things. First, it is important to use 100% pure therapeutic grade oils. Sadly, this phrasing on the bottle is not a guarantee, due to the lack of regulation for essential oils. (I'll have a blog about that another time!)

Second, you want to have access to the product's GC/MS testing reports. If a company is not willing to provide this to you, find a different company. There are too many essential oils that are not pure, have fillers, and even have synthetic components in them. Personally, I only purchase the best essential oils and I do check the GC/MS testing reports. (I will have another post about GC/MS at another time, so check back!)

Finally, you want to research the company from which you are buying oils. You want to support companies that replenish the plants they use and pay their employees/farmers fair wages. Many essential oil companies have established relationships with the farmers and distillers, so there is a community engaged. There is only one Earth, and we're all in this together! It is important for us to support each other!
